Learning Resource Centre
The Learning Resource Centre is popular, well used, comfortable and attractive. It is open throughout the school day and provides a safe and supportive area with friendly and caring staff.
With a constantly updated collection of material to support school learning and help stimulate and develop new interests and creating a love of reading.
Access to the computers and the internet outside the classroom makes sure children can reach the latest information and are helped to develop their IT skills
An ever changing collection of magazines that reflect the interests of students keep them interested in learning and develops and supports their hobbies
The Centre is made fun with activities for all ages and we taking part in many national events, including World Book Week.
With access geared to different age groups, the LRC is designed to be a friendly safe environment where children can receive personal and group support. Weekly lively and fun story-time and activity sessions are held for the younger children. Outside of the curriculum we encourage children to generate new interests, and get the best possible results from their learning
After school we run a homework club.
